It is of course a dilemma of our generation here in the UK . Their social structure was created over long periods of time around local environments. It was nicely fixed and peaceful.

 Social Networking websites. Here is a quick whizz through around this new world. They started in the USA and the main model is open-to-all sites which need millions of members to survive and are funded by paid advertising.

Any shared values or common experience amongst the registrants must be sought out with great care and time.

Because all these sites are not vetted the membership is everyone: you should imagine yourself standing on Oxford Street and trying to make friends. Not easy.There are now concerns about identity theft on the open networking sites and this concern will favour our business model.
